This project was briefed to create visual imagery to help promote Music Junkee’s 200 greatest Australian songs of all time. The long form article consisted of over 20,000 words about the most culturally significant Australian songs. The article header image was ideated, designed and illustrated then carried across all Junkee social channels including two Spotify playlists. The design visually represented the tone of the article with ‘visual puns’ as clues to the songs such as Vegemite toast for ‘A Land Down Under’ and an indigenous flag for ‘Treaty’.
