Barnardo's is a children's charity that aims to transform the lives of vulnerable children across the UK through the work of projects, campaigning and research.

I was a contracted freelance designer for Barnardo's at the head office in Barkingside, Essex, UK. I was given creative control of the projects and directly liaised with clients, yet adhered to the mandatory style guide and brand guidelines.



Retail Posters - A set of five window display posters to promote weekly 'manager's specials' for new Barnardo's retail stores

Flower Parade - A poster and double-sided flyer to promote the annual flower parade fundraiser

Jigsaw - Graphic logo-type for fostering and adoption service for families and children from mixed backgrounds

New Store Retail Posters - A set of three retail posters to advertise the opening of a new store, a stock appeal and a call for volunteers

Christmas E-cards - A series of christmas themed e-cards for the Barnardo's website.The cards were for both corporate and personal use that needed to be appropriate for both children and adults. Two e-cards were animated (which had not previously been done).

Fundraising Information sheets - A series of ten digital flyers for different colleges to promote various fundraising ideas that were relative to the areas of study (for example, a cake sale for hospitality students, a fashion parade for textile students, a talent show for performing arts students)
